Martin Guptill's 180* is now the highest percentage contribution in a successful run chase of 250 and above. But which of these was the best innings?

Gibbs isnt in the list! Stop going on about a knock that isn't in the list. All it shows is your bias.

I think Gibbs contribution was less than 50% since the total chased was more than 400 and his contribution less than 200 though that was a great knock and match

I thought I would see the Gibbs total of the 2006 match against Ausies on Wanderers Cricket ground surprised not to see it that was one good game

@GIRI_ARUN_078 Sanath's 151 should totally be on this list. He could have got to 200 if he didn't run out of runs to chase. 151 not out with 9.1 overs to go.

    It's right up there.

@RAHUL.SINGH Each of the innings above shows the % of runs contributed to the innings. All of them are over 50%

As good as Gibbs innings was, it wasn't 50% of the runs scored. So doesn't fit the criteria for selection.

Why is Gibbs not on the list for his innings in "that" match in 2006 against Aussies in 2006 at Centurion?

No Matter All mentioned innings were great butPakistan;s Abdul Razzaq 109 of 72 Deliveries against South Africa while playing with number 8,9,10,11 may be the best in lot

@CRICFAN7649045386 : The list is about run chases...Kapil Dev's innings was in the first innings of that ODI...

  • girish5919580 on March 2, 2017, 12:28 GMT

Shane Watson has the all time highest percentage in a total chase of more than 200 I believe...185*/232 chased...~80% of the total....however, logically judging by the conditions and the situation of a series, the above list makes sense!!!
